The Western India Regional Council is the largest Regional Council comprising of more than 1/3rd of the total members in the Country.
The Western India Regional Council serves to the members in the region through twentyone branches and more than fifty study circles spread over the States of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa and the Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
The Western India Regional Council was the first Regional Council to launch its very own WEBSITE.
The Western India Regional Council is very active in organising various educational programmes for the benefit of its members and students.

The WIRC publishes a monthly Newsletter for the benefit of its members, wherein all information in regard to the forth coming programmes, Study Circle Meetings, Law Update, Event highlights for the benefit of the students, it also includes Corporate Laws, Sales Tax, Sebi guidelines, Service Tax are published regularly.
Students Education courses are held regularly for students. Various Seminars, Lecture Meetings and Conferences are held regularly for the benefit of the Students.
The Western India Region has a full fledged library at Anveshak, it has approximately 30,000 books including magazines.
A Centrally Reference Library at Aayakar Bhavan, Income Tax is very useful to the members and students visiting the Income Tax office.
A Reference Library at Bandra Pratayashakar Bhawan is very useful to members and Students visiting the Bandra Income Tax Office.
